The Hudson Valley Film Commission is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization, with a mission to create economic and educational opportunities in the region by attracting, supporting and promoting local film, television, new media, photography, and emerging technologies. Founded in 2000 by Laurent Rejtö, it has created over $500 million in economic development".

We take pride in the Film & TV productions that have unfolded in the mid Hudson Valley. Our ongoing efforts continue to focus on soliciting and welcoming productions to the region, promoting locations, recommending local crew members, actors, background extras, production experts, and qualified production facilities.

We’re grateful for the generous support we have received from foundations, government agencies, filmmakers, and private residents. We extend our gratitude to all who have been part of our journey over the years.
